Lecturer awareded research grant to lead pioneering project on housing adaptations
Maria Parks, a senior lecturer in occupational therapy, has been awarded funding to lead the 'genHOME' project, which will systematically review and may research relating to housing adaptations for disabled people.
The project is funded by the College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section – Housing (COTSS), supported by the UK Occupational Therapy Research Foundation (UKOTRF) and Pressalit Care plc

A free one-day event showcasing our current research on the behaviour and wellbeing of children and young people
On the 25th of January 2012 we will be hosting a free one-day showcase event at York St John University, highlighting the work that we and our partners undertake.
The event will comprise a series of keynote presentations and mini-CPD workshops on topics including; bullying, cyberbullying, e-safety, well-being, inclusion in sport, coaching young people and time and stress management.
