This is
a
Masters
programme
for the
Education
and the
Children’s
Workforce.
The
programme
is
designed
to
appeal
to
practitioners
from a
range of
professional
fields
in the
wider
children’s
workforce,
post-compulsory
education
and
training
and
support
roles.
Study on
this
course
is based
on
practitioner
enquiry
and so
it
offers
opportunities
to
research
aspects
of
professional
practice
in the
workplace
setting.
The
course
is
studied
part-time
and is
delivered
here at
York St
John
University
on a
number
of
Saturdays
across
the
year.
The
course
includes
core and
option
modules
and a
dissertation
study.
The
options
(subject
to
demand)
include
modules
on
Children
and
Youth
Worlds,
Leadership
and
Management,
Learning
and
Teaching,
Early
Years,
Education
and
Wellbeing
in
Residential
Environments,
Integrated
Practice
in
Children’s
Services,
Student
Voice
and the
Social
Pedagogue.
