Do You Work With Children and Young People?
Our colleagues in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences are offering funded places on study days and modules for those who work with children and young people. Download the pdf flier for more details.

These study days are suitable for Primary school teachers, SENCo’s, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Specialists in sports science, sports psychology, physical education specialists, sports coaches. Awards of up to £1,000

Budding entrepreneurs (students and graduates) from all disciplines within YSJU are invited to submit proposals to the Proof of Concept fund.

 

The fund is designed to support the development of business ideas from the creation of prototype to exploring a new market for a new business. The fund will support the early stage development of projects that can show commercial potential.  In the past we have had many interesting business ideas from students in theatre and education projects, photography, on-line tour guides, web/multimedia projects to name just a few. Application deadline is November 17 2009.
