Introduction
This open learning unit aims to provide relevant information, activities and tips to enable you to develop an effective application for Individual Recognition by the Higher Education Academy (HEA) as an Associate Fellow (AFHEA), Fellow (FHEA), Senior (SFHEA) or Principal Fellow (PFHEA) based on the UK Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Supporting Learning in Higher Education (HE).
This resource is designed to supplement an introductory session, which may be conducted face-to-face or online, and mentor support however neither of these are mandatory. It has been adapted to suit the context of the York St John University CPD framework “Recognising Academic Practice”.
